Renowned for its famous 6000D event, La Plagne has also developed 18 permanent marked trails for all levels of trail runners.

  • 4 green trails, easy level

  • 4 blue trails, medium level

  • 4 red trails, difficult level

  • 4 black trails, very difficult (unmarked but with GPS tracking)

  • 2 straight climbs

AUGUST 8TH, 2018 – 22ND EDITION OF THE PRAJOURDANE – Plagne Montalbert

A fun race of 9.5km leaving from Plagne-Montalbert and finishing in Prajourdan at 2000m altitude.
Elevation gain: 650m

AUGUST 12TH, 2018 – 31ST EDITION OF THE TRAIL ALPIN DU GRAND BEC RAIDLIGHT – Champagny en Vanoise

A running race on trails and paths through forests and pastures. A licensed race that is on the 73FFA calendar of out-of-stadium races. Distance: 30.2km; elevation gain and drop: 1770m

JULY 19TH & AUGUST 2ND, 2018 – FAMILY RACE – Montchavin-la Plagne

A race with no timing and no classification: just a course for all the family with fun challenges along the way. Quizzes and sporting challenges all along the 3.6 km itinerary that takes about 1 1⁄2 hrs. Elevation gain: 274 m – free of charge

LES BOURTES IN BELLE PLAGNE – A 600-metre course with a continuous “Aeroligne” lifeline. Along the way: a rope bridge, ramps, ladders and 2 zip wires. Access free of charge. Minimum height 1.20 metres Specific equipment rental from sports shops from 15€/day

LE PLAN DU BOUC IN CHAMPAGNY EN VANOISE – An 800 to 900 m course according to whether you go via the ridge or the cliff. Level quite easy to quite difficult Open May to OctoberAccess free of charge

LES GROSSES PIERRES IN CHAMPAGNY EN VANOISE – A 200 m, very athletic, vertical course above Champagny-le-Bas. For experienced climbers only. Level extremely difficult. Open May to October. Access free of charge
