SUMMER 2017 : SPOTLIGHT ON OPEN AIR ACTIVITIES FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

With La Plagne’s great potential as a vast outdoor playground, the resort have thrown themselves into producing a wider than ever choice of outdoor activities for all to enjoy.

Whether visitors prefer to be biking, running or attached to a life line, these activities will meet all their requirements.
Just like in a video game, you will have different lifestyle options:

  • a choice of environment: a variety of landscapes from apple orchards to glacier
  • a choice of level: beginner to expert
  • a choice of how to play: solo or with a group

Electric mountain bike : 150 km of specific itineraries, 80 e-bikes including 24” children’ bikes.

Mountain bike : a bike park for all, in Plagne Centre, la Plagne has doubled the number last year with three new itineraries (one blue, one red and one black variant) totalling 12.5 km of dedicated trails. In 2017,  a blue one will be created to join Plagne Bellecôte from Plagne Centre. Opening from July, 8th until September, 2nd. 

Via ferrata : 2 routes in Champagny en Vanoise and a route from Belle Plagne taking climbers across a rocky itinerary equipped with cables, ladders, ramps, a monkey bridge and two giant zip wires. It’s accessible for families and groups of friends. The 600 m course is equipped with a continuous Aeroligne lifeline so climbers can keep moving without having to undo or change their connection from one section to the next.

Trail : 18 specific routes for all levels including 2 sleep climbs.
