La Plagne altitude sites from December 12th
Paradiski: December 19th – April 23rd
Replacing 2 chairlifts (Montalbert and Fornelet), this 10 person gondola is a fast link from Plagne Montalbert at 1350m and the top of the Fornelet at 1970m.
It takes just 6 minutes and can carry 2800 people/hr, dividing skier travel time by at least 5!
Investment: 11M€ net of tax
The first ski area to see digital technology as a priority investment, Paradiski aims to offer each skier a fully connected experience.
The launch of a new connected service is planned for the 2015/16 season and will be developed over the coming years. Digital technology is integrated in the skier’s itinerary offering personal assistance according to each person’s requirements, experience and location. The app proposes an adapted, personal programme that evolves on a daily basis.
A game thought up by the villages of Plagne Montalbert and Villaroger, situated at either end of the Paradiski area: Pick up a road book from the tourist office, and have fun skiing to the opposite end of the resort and back – enjoying a lunch stop at the “other end of Paradise” – stamping your road book along the way. When finished, present the road book with stamps (proving that you have crossed the ski area) to a selection of partner restaurants and enjoy a free aperitif for each set menu ordered. An itinerary is suggested. There will be a draw at the end of the season to win a 6 day Paradiski lift pass.
