3// 5* Hotel Residence “Le White Pearl-Lodges & SPAS” in Plagne Soleil

This luxury CGH residence centres around 7 chalets made of wood and stone, like a small hamlet in traditional architectural style.
The 91 high-end duplex apartments, with 1 to 5 bedrooms, have state of the art equipment. You just hav to put your skis on and head off on the slopes, then enjoy all the available amenities on your return: a heated indoor/outdoor pool (the only one in La Plagne!), a state-of-the-art Ô des Cimes spa with a whirlpool tub, sauna, Turkish bath, salt grotto, cardio training fitness room and ski shop.
From 1064€/week for a 1-bedroom apartment sleeping 4.
4// Homemade dishes – The chalet de Plan Bois altitude restaurant is serving local cuisine
Le Chalet de Plan Bois, an altitude restaurant that opened on the slopes in the Montchavin-Les Coches sector 30 years ago, is changing direction to offer local cuisine in an intimate setting. Local owner, Isabelle Gentil, came up with this new concept for the restaurant created by her parents.
Lunch will become a limited edition experience: the seating capacity has been divided by 6, from 140 down to 23, in order to offer an address where the focus is on quality with a personal welcome, “just like at home”.
After changing out of ski boots and putting on slippers made in France, guests are seated in one of the 4 dining rooms for individual groups, each with a themed decor (fabric tablecloths and napkins, china service, armchairs, special tableware and throws).
Once seated at the table, the traditional cuisine made with local products is served according to best practices.
Isabelle wants to create an “authentic” and rare restaurant experience, where guests are given every attention. With the constraints of the COVID crisis, it seemed like the perfect moment to start this project that she has been wanting to implement for a long time.
Menu 45/50€/pers. with starter, main course and dessert, drinks not included.
5// The aperitif Escape Games
If it is accepted, your mission consists of cooperating to work out how to release the local products that are imprisoned in the ice box. A really original idea for a well-deserved mountain aperitif and a real challenge for you and your fellow players!
A concept that uses all the codes of a classic escape game with an immersive scenario and several clues, except that you are in your apartment, in slippers.
The game is delivered directly to your accommodation. It includes the Savoyard aperitif, with drinks and appetizers.
New “snow” activities
Midway between a snow-scooter and a skidoo in terms of thrills, this green machine is 100% electric and silent, making it perfect for a night ride. When the lifts close, the ski area becomes an endless playground for environmentally-friendly excursions. Compact and three times lighter than a skidoo, a Moonbike is extremely easy to drive and simple in design (an accelerator and a brake). Driving one offers new sliding sensations as you accelerate, carve and cross the slope in secured areas. Supervised activity, minimum age 18.
Assembled in France, Moonbikes have a track at the back and a ski at the front for steering.
Maximum speed: 42 km/hr
1½ hrs autonomy.
With Elpro: outing towards the Col de Forcle, with views of Mont-Blanc and the Vanoise glaciers, after a 15 minute session on a closed circuit to learn how to handle them. This is also a great activity for eco-responsible seminars. For several years now, positive transition is one of Elpro’s main concerns and its remaining thermal activities (skidoos and quad bikes) should end in the next two years. https://www.elpro-la-plagne.com/
With Oxygène: 12 Moonbikes for guided rides, leaving from Plagne Centre and Belle Plagne. https://www.oxygene.ski/la-plagne-ski-school/
2// Igloo building
Guillaume, your guide, becomes the team leader and puts his expertise to building a life-size igloo!
