London’s Phil Howard, one of Britain’s best-known chefs will be opening a restaurant in the centre of Plagne-Montalbert this year. After managing a double Michelin-starred restaurant for 25 years, he wanted to start a new project that would be a complete change from his city life, in the village that he has loved for over ten years.
Far from the city in an all-new setting, his idea is to cook meals that will satisfy ravenous skiers (or non-skiers) and keep everyone happy through combining great tastes.
To do this, he will train up a brigade of chefs who will prepare his signature dishes whilst he will be in the kitchen in person during his holidays.
“Through a menu of simple, tasty dishes made with seasonal produce, my aim is to create a restaurant that is known for the quality of its cuisine and service, maybe even as being the best restaurant in Paradiski.”
The atmosphere will be intimate, seating 35 in a relaxed, contemporary alpine setting.
Open evenings only
