From a unique race to a real trail running festival with a selection of seven events for runners of all levels, the 6000D has developed significantly in 27 years.

Every year, there is a record number of registrations, with over 2,900 competitors from 12 different countries in 2015.

The 6000D, the key event

From the apple orchards to the glaciers, the 6000D (also known as the “Race of Giants”) is the key event of the three days! The 6000D is renowned for its “one climb, one descent”, the ascent to Bellecôte glacier at over 3,000 m altitude and the run up through France’s one and only Olympic Bobsleigh track!

Price: 50€ to 70€ according to date of registration

Free lift tickets up to the glacier for spectators


6D Lacs

Starting at altitude, the 6D Lacs is a technical course, but not as hard as the 6000D. The course meets up with the 6000D itinerary at certain points, with views of Mont Blanc and Mont Pourri in the background.
